Lab Grown Diamonds
How are they made?
The creation process mirrors that of natural diamonds, involving extreme heat and pressure to form carbon into gemstones. Two methods are used: High Pressure-High Temperature (HPHT) and Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD). HPHT grows diamonds around a diamond seed through high temperature and pressure, while CVD uses carbon-based gases on a diamond seed to form diamonds. While CVD is faster, the method makes no difference in the final product.
